Opportunity Overview

We are pleased to present a permanent position for an experienced Project Manager to join the ASC LOTE (Life of Type Extension) division in Osborne, SA. Reporting directly to the Deputy Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing extensive project activities across all stages of the project lifecycle. Your role will involve leading and coordinating a team of Project Engineers and Administrators to ensure efficient execution and support.

We seek candidates with proficiency in various domains, including Engineering Design, Implementation Planning, and Support System Implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee one or more project segments within the broader LOTE program
  • Establish and maintain baseline schedules
  • Manage budgets and costs, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis
  • Implement risk management strategies
  • Facilitate reporting and communication
  • Provide line management for up to 2 direct reports

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma or higher qualifications in Project Management
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a complex project environment at an Assistant Project Manager level (or equivalent)
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess practical knowledge of Scheduling, Earned Value Management, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and personnel management relevant to complex projects

Eligibility Criteria:

This position necessitates a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
