Clinical Midwife - Caseload Model of Care

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Midwife to join our team in a full-time, fixed-term position. The successful candidate will work 34-38 hours per week for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

This role is part of our innovative Maternal and Child Health program, providing women with continuity of care throughout their pregnancy journey.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in antenatal, birth suite and postnatal settings, as well as demonstrated high levels of communication and clinical problem-solving skills.

To be considered, you must have current registration with AHPRA (no restrictions) and evidence of continuing educational and professional development.

  • Key responsibilities include covering an on-call roster to provide evidence-based continuity of care, working within the community and hospital environment, and supporting service development and data collection.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)

  • Demonstrated high levels of communication (both written and verbal) and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Evidence of continuing educational and professional development

Working Arrangements:

  • This is a fixed-term position for 6 months with the possibility of extension
