Job Title: Chief Data Governance Officer

Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Master Data Management (MDM) strategy aligned to overarching business objectives. This role is responsible for establishing a robust data governance framework and driving consistent, high-quality data standards in collaboration with data producers and consumers.

This position will also support the rollout of MDM initiatives across additional domains in future phases. Strong technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and communication capabilities are critical to success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in defining and executing enterprise-level MDM strategies, with a track record of hands-on implementation in complex environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend), data integration, and associated toolsets.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, governance, and quality management, with proven delivery experience.
  • Strategic mindset and strong problem-solving skills, especially in resolving cross-domain data challenges.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in vendor management, including service delivery oversight and financial negotiation.
  • Awareness of workplace health and safety responsibilities, with a commitment to relevant training and safe work practices.
