About the Role

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our team, providing essential medical care and support to ADF Members. As a civilian GP working with the ADF, you will have the opportunity to travel around Western Australia, South Australia, and Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary medical care to ADF personnel in outpatient and inpatient settings, delivering patient-centred holistic care alongside a multidisciplinary team. You will also assess fitness for duty and support health before and after deployments, offering critical medical advice to Joint Health Command leadership.

Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship (required for Baseline Security Clearance)
  • General registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP), ACRRM (FACRRM), or Vocational Registration
  • At least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years (GPT Registrar rotations counted)
  • Recent CPD participation aligned with AHPRA requirements
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
