We are a small hospital in Upstate NY, 55 miles from Albany and 45 minutes from Saratoga. The center performs a low-volume labor and delivery service (approximately 500 deliveries per year) with a strong commitment to continuing to provide this service at a beautiful birthing center.

We currently run Women's Health out of three of our twelve Primary/Specialty Care Centers: one in Gloversville (attached to the hospital), one in Perth, NY (9.2 miles away), and one in Fonda, NY.

There is a four MD group with two midwives and three WH NP. Our office practices are robust.

This is a full-time position with a four-day work week and a one-in-four on-call schedule. Nurse Midwives take first call when assigned for call, meaning you would be called by doctors, ER, or the Birthing Unit in those circumstances. From time to time, a midwife may not be on call with you, depending on rotation, but GYN patient calls will go to our other NP call rotations in those cases. You would be expected to perform deliveries and surgeries.
