Job Overview
Aged Care Resumes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at Karana Community, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility in Kew, Victoria. As a Personal Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing high-quality care and support.

About the Role
This Casual position offers flexible hours including weekdays and weekends for morning, afternoon, and night shifts. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work with a planned schedule under the direction of a registered nurse. Your key duties and responsibilities will include listening to consumers and understanding their needs, following care plans, recording consumer outcomes, participating in continuous improvement cycles, building relationships with families and agencies, reporting workplace and consumer risks, and attending regular scheduled training.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum Certificate III in Aged Care and a minimum of 12 months working experience in an Aged Care facility. You should also possess excellent attention to detail, honesty, reliability, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team. Additionally, you must have a customer-focused mindset and a passion for working in Aged Care.
