About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Associate to join our Restructuring and Insolvency team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Partners and lawyers to advise clients on complex corporate restructuring and insolvency matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on large and complex corporate restructuring and workouts
  • Assisting with formal insolvency administrations, including receiverships, administrations, and liquidations for major banks, private capital funds, and leading accounting firms
  • Working on distressed investment opportunities for private capital funds
  • Collaborating with our alliance partner, Linklaters, on cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters
  • Assisting with significant commercial litigation for Australia's leading companies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working in back-end restructuring and insolvency at a leading Australian practice or international firm
  • The ability to effectively manage larger matters, develop client relationships, and participate in business development activities
  • A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others
