The Opportunity:

Ashurst is seeking a highly skilled lawyer to join its Restructuring and Insolvency team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented lawyer to develop their skills and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

The successful candidate will have experience in restructuring and insolvency law, with a strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

About You:

  • You will have a thorough understanding of restructuring and insolvency law and be able to contribute to the development of the practice.
  • You will be able to take day-to-day responsibility for more straightforward matters and actively progress complex matters with close partner support.
  • You will have well-developed drafting skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients.
  • You will have the ability to identify when a team member needs support and be approachable for advice and guidance.
  • You will understand the way our business, competitors and clients are developing and work with the business development team to use this information to develop business opportunities.
  • You will be able to mentor and assist junior associates to promote their learning and development.
