This role involves working as a Cyber Governance Risk Consultant to join an APAC cybersecurity team.
- The primary objective is to develop and maintain a robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and continuously improve the organisation's GRC program.
- Conduct third-party security risk assessments using GRC platforms to evaluate vendor compliance, resilience, and security posture.
- Assist in identifying and managing cybersecurity risks by recommending and tracking control improvements.
- Perform internal security audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
- Deliver clear, actionable reports on risk heatmap, control effectiveness, and remediation progress.
- Coordinate evidence collection and documentation for cybersecurity and regulatory audits.
- 3+ years of experience in GRC or related fields.
- Good understanding of cyber security fundamentals and principles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with GRC platforms and data visualisation tools.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO27005 Risk manager, CRISC, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
