Laboratory Quality Control Specialist

As a Laboratory Quality Control Specialist with Boral, you will be responsible for undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, and reporting of results for our Asphalt related products.

This role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and involves working independently. Your day will involve:

  • Conducting sampling of samples on site with our Asphalt crews
  • Conducting testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals
  • Calibrating laboratory equipment as required
  • Maintaining, observing, and taking part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
  • Other duties as directed by Laboratory Management

We are looking for an individual with experience as a field tester, who has well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data, especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc. You should also be able to cope with competing priorities and deadlines and be willing to do shift/weekend work in line with our crews (Overtime paid).

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
