Job Description

As a key member of the compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand. Your duties will include:

  • Analyzing incidents and breaches to guarantee timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Developing comprehensive reports and analysis for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential risks and non-compliance issues, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including compliance assurance teams and risk managers.
  • Supporting training initiatives and internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of insurance regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A recent graduate degree in Law or a related field, or relevant experience as a junior lawyer or compliance professional.
