Spatial Data Systems Manager

We are seeking a skilled GIS professional to manage and enhance our enterprise GIS platforms, supporting both Defence and internal operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take ownership of our spatial data systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organisation.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining spatial data systems, working closely with GIS Managers, Analysts, and Coordinators to deliver spatial solutions, support reporting and analysis, and drive innovation in geospatial technologies.
Key areas of focus include:
- Development and integration of spatial data systems
- Maintenance of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial)
- Enterprise integration (ERP/CRM), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), SAP knowledge beneficial
A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable GIS solutions are essential. A diploma or degree in spatial sciences or a related field is also required, along with eligibility for Defence Security Clearance.
