Job Opportunity: Coastal Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Coastal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in the creation and construction of cities.

You will work with renowned experts, champion great initiatives, and be part of a company that fosters career growth and encourages continuous improvement.

Our team works on large-scale port developments, coastal structure design, metocean conditions, and adaptation planning. We need a coastal enthusiast to deliver and expand on current and upcoming opportunities based in Perth or Brisbane.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients.
  • Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals and experts.
  • Work in a flexible framework and environment.
  • Attend networking events, opportunities, and activities.
  • Travel to and work in other locations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, e.g., a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  • A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and guidance in coastal engineering and science.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the planning and design of coastal or civil infrastructure, with a keen interest in the coastal engineering space.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to collaborate and work within a team environment.
  • A passion and drive to make a real difference.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience in dredging.
  • Experience in coastal adaptation planning and design.
  • Understanding of on-site coastal construction.
  • Track record in project delivery of complex coastal projects.
