Role Overview

Maven Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during procedures, providing exceptional chairside support.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Update electronic medical records and manage patient files with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient reception, appointments, and calls, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate patient flow in the reception area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all patients.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a dental or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and other team members.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Comfort with computer systems and dental software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Dedication to patient confidentiality and privacy, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
