Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team at Maven Dental. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during procedures, providing exceptional chairside support and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety.
  • Update electronic medical records and manage patient files, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Manage patient reception, appointments, and calls, providing a warm and welcoming experience for our patients.
  • Coordinate patient flow in the reception area, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a dental or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort with computer systems and dental software, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Dedication to patient confidentiality and privacy, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Flexibility for casual work, with a minimum of 2 days per week availability.
