Main Responsibilities:

  • Boiler Operations: Monitor and operate boiler systems to ensure they run safely and efficiently, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspecting boilers and associated equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Water Chemistry Management: Monitor and control boiler water chemistry, performing water treatment as needed to maintain healthy conditions.
  • Alarms and Abnormalities: Respond promptly to alarms and abnormalities in boiler operations, taking swift action to resolve issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of boiler operation, maintenance, and inspections, providing valuable insights for process improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a boiler attendant or similar role is highly valued. A proven track record of successful boiler operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Full Australian High Risk Boiler ticket is mandatory. Knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety protocols is crucial for success in this role.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
