We are seeking dedicated professionals to support people with disabilities in various settings.

Job Description:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and daily living support to clients with disabilities
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to individual dietary needs
  • Engaging clients in recreational activities and social events
  • Monitoring client behavior and responding to emergency situations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with people with disabilities, particularly Down Syndrome
  • Current CPR Certification and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to handle challenging behaviors in a safe and respectful manner
