About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

What We Look for in a Care Worker
  • You are passionate about assisting our elderly community and helping them live independently at home for longer.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a part of the role.
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers and their families.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for support.
