About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Hospital Service Staff Member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with daily hospital cafe operations.

This includes preparation and selling of beverages along with basic food preparation in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. To ensure high-quality standards are maintained, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in line with required food safety, infection control and hospital standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and food court areas;
  • Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
  • Display a strong level of commitment to teamwork while also being able to work autonomously when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in a fast-paced cafe setting
  • Barista experience is desirable
  • Experience in food and beverage preparation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
  • Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster
  • Cash handling experience
