We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Partner to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing a broad range of activities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in refining and maintaining the Procurement Framework, liaising with external consultants and staff to support implementation.
- Act as a point of reference and contact for school leaders and staff in aspects of current and future procurement processes.
- Provide proficient management of all aspects of sourcing processes and program requirements.
- Support and assist in preparing and managing tendering and other sourcing processes.
- Carry out analysis and research around spend categories to assist in determining procurement strategies and supplier engagement approaches.
- Support the Commercial and Procurement Manager in developing ongoing relationships with pre-qualified and preferred suppliers.
- Collaborate with others and apply a customer service mindset in oversight of the Procurement helpdesk.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Understanding of procurement and supply chain industry best practices, framework, and relevant statutory and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of internal planning pathways and procurement for projects.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management Software, with practical understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Effective budgetary and risk management controls to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- A strong work ethic and genuine passion for customer support and service.
- Appropriate qualification in business, project management, administration, or a related discipline.
