Early Childhood Education Centre Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Team Leader to establish and create a lasting legacy at our brand-new purpose-built early childhood education centre. With a philosophy centred on play-based learning, this is your chance to nurture a team that will bring our vision to life.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of educators to achieve best practices in early childhood education. You will be passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes the development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to achieve best practices in early childhood education
  • Create an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes the development of young children
  • Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education to our clients
  • Mentor and support new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles
Essential Qualifications and Certifications
  • ACECQA-approved qualifications (e.g Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent)
  • Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People card or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Full-Time Working Rights
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieve best practices
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with children, families, and the wider community
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Collaborative approach to providing inclusion support and care for our diverse workforce and clients
  • Understanding of programming and development techniques for preschool children
