Job Summary:

Collarcare is partnering with health services across Australia to recruit Registered Nurses for hospital contracts in QLD. We have opportunities across all specialisations with both regional/travel contracts & local shifts. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and a commitment to deliver compassionate patient care.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care by performing comprehensive assessments, providing emergency care, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, and monitor patients' progress to adjust care plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care to promote healthy outcomes.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records to ensure continuity of care.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide timely and effective interventions to ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patient care by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a well-organized workspace.
Key Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Immunisation history.
  • 6 months of experience working in an Australian Health Setting.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Additional mandatory trainings as required.
