  • As a Valuation Modelling and Economics Specialist, you will join our team to provide expert advice on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital for our clients. You will work with small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting and disputes.">

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets.">
  3. Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team, managing and preparing valuation reports which may include assessment of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modelling and analysis.">
  4. Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.">
  5. Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel other EY project teams and colleagues.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience.">
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.">
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes.">
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.">
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is desired.">
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.">
