Senior Medical Imaging Technologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Imaging Technologist to join our dynamic Radiology team at Royal Perth Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in radiographic techniques and imaging principles, as well as excellent leadership skills in planning, coordinating, and evaluating medical imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical imaging services at an advanced practice level.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient safety and quality of care.
  • Practice in accordance with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia's Code of Conduct, Registration Standards, and policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to a 24/7 imaging service supporting high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and licensing with the Radiological Council of WA.
  • Strong clinical expertise in radiographic techniques and imaging principles.
  • Proven leadership in planning, coordinating, and evaluating medical imaging services.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
