About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team at Iconic Recruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager in increasing retailer sales, foot traffic, and brand awareness for a shopping centre in the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing plan to boost retailer sales, foot traffic, and centre awareness
  • Foster retailer engagement and manage relationships for campaign participation
  • Collaborate with retailers to align individual marketing efforts with centre-wide campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with digital and creative agencies
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns across various media channels
  • Build relationships with community, tenants, and customers to enhance brand awareness
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and ROI analysis
  • Oversee digital platforms, content calendars, and database marketing
  • Implement strategies for income targets, exploring commercial opportunities
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports and assist in achieving KPIs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ecommerce opportunities
  • Participate in emergency management and assist the Centre Manager when needed
Requirements
  • Preferably tertiary qualified in marketing or 3+ years of experience in shopping centre marketing
  • Proven experience in campaign execution and budget management
  • Social media savvy, with an understanding of digital trends
  • Confident in engaging tenants, customers, and stakeholders across various mediums
