Responsibilities

  1. Assist with domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes remain safe and beautiful.
  2. Provide meal preparation and shopping assistance, ensuring our customers have access to healthy and nutritious food.
  3. Offer social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, promoting our customers' independence and engagement with their community.
  4. Deliver personal care services, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medication, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  5. Provide respite and emotional support to our customers, acknowledging their individual needs and preferences.
  6. Transport customers to appointments, fostering their connection with healthcare professionals and community services.

Requirements

">
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, with expertise in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an integral part of the role.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
  • An ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to seek guidance from management.
