We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to work on an exciting project supporting the cloud migration strategy for a leading IT services company, Compas Pty Ltd. The role involves working within an integrated workforce to facilitate and assist in migrating to cloud platforms, ensuring resiliency and scalability for complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect AWS infrastructure solutions to meet technical and business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability, driving business value and growth.
  • Assist in the adoption of end-to-end AWS Cloud development and management, utilizing both plan-driven and adaptive approaches to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate approved security capabilities and work with security specialists to fine-tune and document solutions, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering complex cloud projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to guide teams, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS architecture, cloud best practices, and compliance standards, with a focus on delivering secure and scalable solutions.
  • Ability to produce detailed service design specifications for AWS cloud-based service solutions, ensuring clarity and precision.
