Experienced Marine Fleet Mechanic Wanted

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced marine mechanic to maintain and upkeep our marine fleet and infrastructure facilities.
This role requires the ability to work independently, with energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management skills. The primary work location will be Cleveland and/or Russell Island.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planned and unplanned maintenance on vessels across the fleet and other company assets, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and Work Health and Safety obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in mechanical plant, particularly marine diesel engines, marine vessels, and components.
- Commitment to creating a safe working environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter/Marine Mechanic or MED 1 or 2 with onshore workshop experience.
- C Class driver's license.
- LF forklift license.
- Recreational boat license.
- Valid Radio Operators License (preferred).
- First Aid and CPR certificate (preferred).
- Confined space and gas test atmosphere training (desired).
- Working at heights training (desired).
