Treasury Financial Management Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Treasury Financial Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and optimizing our company's financial resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies to support business initiatives.
  • Initiate and execute electronic funds transfers efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate in the management of short-term investments to maximize returns.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, encompassing interest rate, foreign exchange, credit risk, and liquidity risk.
  • Monitor compliance with hedging policies and procedures diligently.
  • Provide insightful reports on financial risk exposures for informed decision-making.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to implement controls that allow us to effectively manage risk.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of robust treasury policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date treasury records, ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare comprehensive treasury reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Automate existing operational processes where possible.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, mathematics, economics or related field.
  • Proficiency with financial data analysis, interpretation, and manipulation using Excel or PowerBI.
  • Understanding of various financial products and markets.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive key outcomes and contribute to business growth.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, MATLAB, Tableau is desirable.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
