Experienced Painter Required for Melbourne Construction Project

About the Role:
Dhatt Group is a leading provider of construction and maintenance services in Melbourne, seeking a skilled Painting Trades Worker to deliver high-quality finishes and maintenance for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, washing, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
- Select, mix, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprays to meet client preferences.
- Work with protective coverings, such as tarps and tapes, to prevent accidental damage to surroundings and maintain a safe working environment.
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements, colors, and finishes, and provide expert advice on surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Ensure quality control and maintain high standards of finishing in all work, adhering to industry best practices and Dhatt Group's commitment to excellence.
- Handle and maintain tools and materials in a safe and organized manner, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing waste.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent) is essential for this role.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar position, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in surface preparation, brush, roller, and spray techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
We offer a competitive salary range of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to successful applicants.
