Job Title: Financial Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Accor Apartments & Realty. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the daily accounting and reporting responsibilities for a cluster of properties within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare profit and loss and balance sheet financial statements, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Prepare accurate reports for management, including financial analysis and recommendations.
- Uphold the accuracy of entries in point of sale and property management system.
- Manage the accounts receivable function, encompassing invoicing and remittance.
- Oversee day-to-day finance administration tasks, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with the property team, corporate head office, and the regional finance team to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in accounting or finance.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or property management company.
- Effective time management abilities to handle a substantial workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekend availability to accommodate business needs.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
