**Waterproofing Specialist Required for Exciting Opportunity**

Megasealed is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team.

As a key member of our team, your duties will involve:

  • Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Re-tile and waterproof existing shower recesses, balconies and remedial tiling areas with precision and care.
  • Cutting and shaping tiles using tile-cutting tools for edges and corners, around fittings and pipes with minimal waste.
  • Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced, maintaining aesthetic appeal.
  • Grouting newly tiled areas with specialist grout products, adhering to high standards.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years industry experience in leaking shower and balcony repairs.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in waterproofing showers, bathrooms and balconies.
  • Current driver's licence for efficient transportation.
  • Police clearance or willingness to obtain one for secure working conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual and excellent communication, time management skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with autonomy.
  • Polite, friendly and customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exemplary workmanship skills with attention to detail.
  • White card (OHS) certification for workplace safety.
  • Carpentry experience desirable for versatility.
  • Experience with epoxy grouts and removal/ refitting of fully framed shower screens desirable.
  • Ability to screed sand/cement beds and confidently demolish existing shower units.
