**Job Opportunity:** We are seeking a skilled wall and floor tiler for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or extensive experience in this field.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying tiles, and ensuring quality alignment. They will also need to examine plans, measure and mark surfaces, lay out work, and use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners.


Key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
  • Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
  • Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
  • Applying waterproofing systems
  • Attaching tiles to various surfaces using numerous adhesives
  • Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced

**Requirements and Qualifications:**


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:


  • A Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a wall and floor tiler
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and be trustworthy and reliable
  • A driver's license and own equipment/transport vehicle
