Strategic Planning Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst to join our Group Strategy & Planning Team and play a pivotal role in driving our company's profitability and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to use your financial modelling and analytical expertise to influence key strategic and commercial decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our annual strategic planning and budgeting process by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations.
  • Develop and evolve reporting frameworks for executive-level communication.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and financial modelling to understand and explain business issues and opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality analysis of data and business drivers to inform smarter decisions.
  • Extract the 'so what' from the numbers and communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Create and present clear, impactful presentations for senior management and business leaders.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise language.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience working in a similar role or industry is preferred but not required.
