This opportunity involves delivering healthcare services to aged care residents via telehealth. The role is designed to be flexible and can be performed remotely, making it ideal for those seeking a work-life balance.
Responsibilities- Conduct advanced nursing assessments, diagnose, intervene, and manage patient care via telehealth.
- Address acute health issues, update care plans, and coordinate care with facility staff, general practitioners, and specialists as required.
- Issue electronic prescriptions, order/review investigations, and refer patients to specialist telehealth services when necessary.
- Maintain continuity of care by conducting after-hours telehealth rounds and ensuring timely documentation.
- Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
- Average 4 consultations per hour (dependent on case load).
- Full administrative support provided.
