Senior Facilities Operations Manager

Job Title
As a seasoned Maintenance and Engineering professional, you will oversee the upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in building systems, including Electrical, HVAC, and Mechanical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance to maintain high standards.
- Delegate repair and maintenance work to team members or contractors as needed.
- Champion resource management improvements and conservation practices.
- Conduct regular testing of fire alarms and emergency lighting equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor waste removal and ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Qualified Engineer (preferred)
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer/Facilities Manager or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Knowledge of Australian Standards related to facilities management
- Strong project Management experience
