Job Summary

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our company's HSE systems are developed, implemented, and continuously improved to meet legislative and statutory requirements.

This senior leadership position has a direct impact across all projects, offering the opportunity to shape and drive safety culture, work within a supportive leadership team, and contribute to a collaborative project environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSE Systems: Ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements by developing, implementing, and continuously improving our company's HSE systems.
  • Maintain Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Drive Safety Culture: Drive a culture of safety across all projects, promoting environmentally responsible practices and aligning with company objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Represent the Business: Represent the business professionally in all external dealings.
  • Resolve Client Issues: Resolve client issues relating to HSE promptly to build strong, long-term relationships.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Safety & Environment or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' construction industry experience in HSE roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Qualifications in auditing and training (desirable).
  • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with HSE systems.
