Production Excavator Operator Job Opportunity

The Production Excavator Operator role is an exciting opportunity to work in a coal mine near Moranbah. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Hitachi 5600 or CAT 6040 Excavator loading CAT 793 Dump Trucks in the Prestrip Department.

About the Role

  • This is a production mining role, and previous experience operating Hitachi 5600 Excavators or similar within production mining is required.
  • The successful candidate must have a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical obtained within the last 2 years, as well as a SSE signed skills list, current Driver's Licence, and right to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Hitachi 5600 or CAT 6040 Excavator loading CAT 793 Dump Trucks.
  • Work in a rotating roster with 12.5-hour days and FIFO Fully Paid and DIDO options available.
