  • Claims Coordinator/Claims Assistant

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to join a claims management and residential building repair company. As a Claims Coordinator or Claims Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives related to the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Acting as a liaison between the business, insurance clients, claimants, policyholders, and customers regarding the status and eligibility for coverage for all relevant claims.
  • Reviewing claims to ensure invoicing requirements are met, updating accounts as necessary, answering inquiries, and making recommendations for resolution in conjunction with the Assessor.
  • Managing database records.
  • Ensuring GICOP legislative requirements, SLA's, and client requirements are adhered to.
  • Performing other administrative tasks as required.
