About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our Head Office in Mascot. We're seeking a Commercial Business Partner Lead who will provide commercial thought leadership on a range of opportunities, partnerships, and prioritisation decisions. You'll constructively challenge the current status quo of deal structures and provide commercial thought leadership in development of new deal constructs for new and existing partners in a dynamic loyalty landscape to deliver optimum outcome for Qantas Loyalty, partners, and Qantas Frequent Flyers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Providing commercial thought leadership on a range of opportunities, partnerships, and prioritisation decisions
• Constructively challenging the current status quo of deal structures and providing commercial thought leadership in development of new deal constructs for new and existing partners in a dynamic loyalty landscape
• Working collaboratively with the Tribe and Squad leadership team on business performance, initiative prioritisation, strategic objectives, and delivery of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
• Developing new approaches and methods to deliver stakeholder business value/outcomes

What You'll Bring

• 7-10 years' experience in complex corporate environments with exposure to strategy formulation and execution, financial accounting, and/or economics with significant experience supporting business performance
• Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and ability to effectively engage at executive levels
• A strong understanding of customer loyalty and program economics
• Must have complex modelling experience to support new and existing partner growth opportunities
• Strategic thinking skills with strong commercial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under pressure
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
