Job Title: Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at People2people. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and supporting business growth.

About the Role:
  • Prepare and present fortnightly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete monthly financial reports, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality analysis.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to review financial results, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to drive business growth.
  • Manage Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock (SLOBS) reporting, implementing initiatives to minimize financial impact.
  • Coordinate stock reconciliation processes, conduct periodic stock-takes, and perform quarterly gross profit analysis.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
  • Provide business insights and financial analysis to executive management, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the Cloud Business Central (BC) implementation project team, driving process improvements and financial efficiency.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or equivalent.
  • CA, CPA, or CMA qualification.
  • Current NSW driver's license.
  • Experience in finance management within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in a range of accounting and financial packages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
