Electrical Design Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Leader to spearhead our VIC power distribution projects.

This key role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering quality work that connects communities.

  • Design and deliver complex electrical distribution projects across Victoria, including overhead and underground networks up to 66kV, substations, and street lighting solutions.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure successful project coordination and execution.
  • Develop and submit tenders and quotations for electrical design services.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide strategic project direction.
  • Opportunity to leverage NEARA, GPS, and LIDAR technologies to enhance project outcomes.

A strong background in electrical engineering is essential for this role. A Bachelor's or Diploma of Electrical Engineering is advantageous, but not required.

Our ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of VIC electrical distribution networks, established consultancy experience, and proficiency in software programs such as AutoCAD and/or NEARA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Design and Delivery: Develop and implement electrical distribution projects across Victoria.

  • Tender and Quotation Development: Prepare and submit tenders and quotations for electrical design services.
  • Project Review and Direction: Participate in peer reviews and provide strategic project direction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in electrical engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of VIC electrical distribution networks.
  • Established consultancy experience.
  • Proficiency in software programs such as AutoCAD and/or NEARA.
