Surveying Technician Job Description

The role of a Surveying Technician is to work independently and collaboratively on residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects.

Key responsibilities include undertaking construction surveys, conducting survey calculations, drafting, and reports as needed using relevant software, and managing and controlling survey documentation for statutory authorities and project guidelines.

  • Undertake construction surveys including construction, as constructed, and feature surveys
  • Conduct survey calculations, drafting, and reports as needed using relevant software
  • Manage and control survey documentation for statutory authorities and project guidelines

Requirements for the role include 1+ years' experience in Surveying, a minimum Certificate IV in Surveying, proficiency in surveying equipment and software, ability to work in complex environments and deliver project milestones, and a current Australian driver's license.
