Full Time or Part Time Educator Role Available

Can you be kind, patient, and supportive of my learning? My School, The Akidamy, is looking for a new full-time or part-time educator. There are some requirements you will need to have:

Experience Needed

  • Previous substantial experience (1 year minimum) working in an early childhood setting, ideally in a under 4yrs environment
  • Completed a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • An ability to plan innovative and engaging child-initiated curriculums, incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability, and nature play
  • Ability to document children's learning and development to a high standard to make children's learning visible
  • An open mindset that is positive and adaptable to change

You will receive at least 2-3 hours per week to create curriculum and conduct observations. Our school is beautiful and purpose-built, enhanced with digital technology, and has many resources including a designated Atelier to further explore my interests. Mr. David, our School Chef, will cook you lunch every day, so just bring yourself.

  • Highly competitive remuneration package ranging from $30/hr upwards depending on qualifications and experience
