About the role:

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

You will be responsible for leading teams on site, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of project requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To manage and coordinate site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • To supervise and lead a team of contractors, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
  • To maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, timesheets, and defect logs.
  • To liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of any issues that may arise.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or as a Leading Hand in the civil construction sector.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to OH&S and a willingness to uphold the highest standards.
