We manufacture everyday products that are used by some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail, and Fresh Produce.
About This RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work as a skilled Maintenance Fitter at our site in Rocklea, QLD.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, installations, and corrective tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Play a key role within a team focused on efficient preventative maintenance practices on the site.
- Complete timely and satisfactory preventative maintenance work as directed.
- Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams.
- Where required, assist with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions for repetitive failures and attend to machine breakdowns.
- Assist with ordering components from external suppliers as necessary with approval.
To be successful, the candidate must demonstrate strong fault-finding and communication skills, and have the ability to problem-solve and show initiative.
Key Requirements- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent qualifications.
- Forklift licence is highly regarded.
- Experience in CMMS and other maintenance/reliability tools and practices.
- Confined space training is ideal but not required.
- Ability to work overtime hours as required.
