About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activity Officer to join our team at Integratedliving Australia. As an Activity Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation to our clients through recreational activities that promote holistic wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver a range of social and recreational activities for individuals and groups
  • Encourage socialisation and provide opportunities for customers to enhance their skills and interests
  • Provide person-centred care and support to customers, including assistance with activities of daily living
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and communicate with supervisors as needed
  • Assist with medication administration and other duties as required
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or relevant qualifications
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to travel to all day centre sites and possess a reliable vehicle
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with people with dementia and older adults
