Job Title: Respite & Activity Centre Coordinator

Integratedliving Australia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respite & Activity Centre Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation to our clients through recreational activities that promote holistic wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate statistics, administrative records, and reports in accordance with integratedliving standards for client documentation.
  • Coordinate compliance activities to ensure data integrity and adherence to policy and procedure.
  • Promote the retention of existing life skills for individuals and provide opportunities to enhance these skills through participation in various tasks.
  • Build ongoing relationships with clients to enable provision of quality service and identification of opportunities to improve service.
  • Support clients with difficulty in identifying their own needs or accessing services.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities or resources to ensure service outputs are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Support new and potential clients to access integratedliving services, Activity or Wellness Centres, and coordinate service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to all day centre sites, including a reliable and comprehensive insured motor vehicle.
  • Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure or relevant qualifications of the same level or higher.
  • Current First Aid + CPR.
  • Ability to create a supportive and empowering environment for customers and carers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of customers.
  • Confident in using different forms of technology, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of older people and proven customer service orientation.
  • Experience working with people with dementia is essential.
  • Current driver's license (P1 or above).
