We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance the independence and health of older Australians in the Canberra area.
This role involves delivering assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, helping older people maintain or regain independence and confidence to remain living at home.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evidence-based assessments and develop individualized programs for aged care clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to empower clients to live their best possible lives at home.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
- Ability to assess OT needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients.
- Postgraduate experience in rehabilitation and community settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to work independently and within a team.
