As a Golf Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting guests and assisting them with their chosen leisure or sporting activity
  • Undertaking bookings and answering general enquiries
  • Providing guests with hire equipment (golf carts, clubs, range balls, etc)
  • Undertaking retail services (food and apparel)
  • Attending to daily procedures including stock ordering, logging of general maintenance requirements
  • General upkeep within the Pro-Shop and environments (tables, counters and benchtops)
  • Assessing loan equipment upon its return

You will be required to have at least 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a golf club or fitness centre environment. A sound understanding of the game of golf is also essential. You should be able to engage with customers across a wide range of fitness levels and interest groups, and have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems.

A current First Aid qualification is preferred but not essential. You will be required to provide a valid Police Clearance certificate prior to engagement and provide evidence of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

This is a part-time position working up to 20 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime pay. The successful candidate will be available to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
